Latest Updates from Our Project:
Habemus novum...

Hi everyone,
I am pleased to finally inform you that we now have a clear update on the NA shipments.
After numerous conversations with the Ship Naked team, we can now give you some details on the timeframes:
The ships are scheduled to leave on the 17th and 22nd April. They will take about 1 month to reach destination, after which time Ship Naked will need another 1 to 2 weeks or so to deliver all the games.
We will continue to support NA through a number of different initiatives, including a living rulebook where we will collect all corrections and new rules, which will slowly be implemented or changed according to your suggestions. It will also include new missions that can be downloaded for free from our website and the Ashes magazine.
We are truly hoping for your participation once you receive the game so we can keep improving and elaborating on it.
A gift for your patience...
We know that the delay and split shipments may have put you in a bad mood, but to make up for it we’ve decided to offer you a new gift: an exclusive miniature to help you forgive us for the inconvenience.
Shortly we’ll be launching a survey so that you can choose the miniature you'd most prefer from among:
Jareth (David Bowie in Labyrinth)
Lich (Roman construct from the imperial period)
Tomas DeTorquemada (Spanish inquisitor from the late 1400s)
A model of a different sex to the four base heroes (one of the four)
We send this model with the second wave.
Clarifications and future plans
First of all, we’d like to take the opportunity to answer some of the suggestions received from our backers:
we know it would be better to launch our next project, Sine Tempore, after having delivered all the NA games, but this would mean overlapping with a very important game that will be released in June, or otherwise waiting until the end of the campaign - however at this stage we can’t afford any more delays.
The Sine Tempore base game has been ready for some time now, and we’ve begun working on our next project, Black Rose War with our external collaborators.
We have created a fantastic study with some truly dynamic people who are 100% dedicated to game development. We have begun to collaborate with numerous publishing houses (Minion Games and Tabula Games to name a few) and have consolidated relations with our traditional partners (Ergo Ludo Edition, Maki games and Cosmic Group). But it’s important that we keep working on these relationships, because as you know we're still an Indie company and the only way to keep producing games is to stay active.
That’s why we’ve decided to start the campaign, in spite of everything.
Some of you have already tested the game at Essen, Lucca Games and Modena Play. A lucky few were able to see the finished product first-hand at Modena Play, but everybody recognised the value of the project.
We have a lot of faith in your continued trust and support.
The best we can do is assure you that we’ll keep doing better, improving delivery times and where possible the already excellent quality of our games.
Pets
Today we introduce another small NA expansion, the one dedicated to pets.
These sweet little animals can support the heroes in different ways.
Following, you’ll find the link to download the rules, respective cards and standees (uploaded after Monday 17) :
For those of you interested in our new project, I am pleased to introduce the first initiative that will guide you along the discovery of our next Kickstarter.
Until 21/04, you can vote for your favourite miniature on our facebook page, as an exclusive for the game launch.
The design with the highest number of votes will be completed and transformed into a spectacular miniature.
Shipping status and unboxing video

Hi everyone,
just a short update about the shipping status and to show you the videos we received last week from the factory.
Shipping status
We don’t have any more news for you at this stage except that production was completed halfway through March. Ship Naked is booking - or has already booked (we hope) - the ships.
Like you, we’re waiting for some good news but unfortunately there’s nothing more we can do at this stage.
We decided to send the goods with four ships to speed up the delivery, but given that this is our first time, and having gotten the timing wrong in the past due to our inexperience, we’d prefer not to give you any fixed dates.
Two ships are headed towards American and Canadian users and the other two are headed towards Europe (Germany and Italy).
We know that many of you are anxiously waiting for the game and are not happy about the delays, but rest assured that we are just as frustrated as you are and that in the future, backed by more experience, we’ll be able to handle the production and shipment times more efficiently.
For the time being, all we can ask is that you hold tight. It won't be long before you receive a game that we’re sure will keep you happily busy for a long time.
Just a few days...

Hi everyone,
Nova Aetas has finally arrived. In just a few days, Whatz Games will be sending the games out to the ships for delivery. We’ll be finding out the names of the ships so we can track the entire process.
In the meantime, as we wait for confirmation from the factory, we’d like to show you our PVC miniatures.
They have just arrived and look great. They have a high level of detail and should be easy to paint.

The following photos show the difference between the first batch displayed at Essen, and the models now available for play. We are extremely happy with the result and offer our special thanks to Fernando, who revised all the models on more than one occasion.

We have placed some of the Nova Aetas models alongside other types of miniatures so you can compare the level of detail.
In a few weeks, the third issue of Ashes will be published.
This will include another insight into the development of Nova Aetas and the publication of the third promo mission, which will see the arrival of the Scum.
We will also introduce another of our artists and speak about his contribution to the game.
There will also be a new section dedicated to the development of every single Add-on or SG.
In this issue, Luca will guide you along the discovery of the Personae.
Stay tuned!!!

Hi everyone,
just a brief
update to keep you up to step on the latest activities.
Whatz Game has confirmed
the timeframe for the end of production, with the first wave of
materials scheduled for the start of March.
It won’t be long now
until we can play Nova Aetas.
Next week, after the
Chinese New Year, we will send a few samples of all the materials we
have to show you. So provided there are no shipping problems, in
about 10-15 days we’ll be able to show you everything we get from
the factory.
For now we can show you
the photos we received last week. They are plastic trays containing
the miniatures; we have already pointed out a few corrections that
need to be made, so don’t be surprised if you notice a few pieces
that don’t fit perfectly into their slots:
Moreover, we now present
the dice that you’ll find in the core box:
As we approach the
delivery date for the first wave, we are starting to reschedule the
release of our next game, Sine Tempore, for somewhere between April
and May, immediately after Nova Aetas is delivered.
We thought you might
appreciate a small taste of what’s to come with this new game.

Those of you who also
follow us on facebook will have also noticed a minor restyling of the
graphics to give it a more “modern” look.
We’re currently working
on the dice, which we’d like to make even more captivating.
Ashes 2 and some previews

First and foremost, happy new year to you all!
We hope you enjoyed the festive season; we spent most of the time hard at work on our games, leaving us little time for festivities!
As I wrote in the past, we have started working on all the second wave materials again, making the most of the time at our disposal to improve the product.
In the previous updates you were given a sneak preview on the development of various new models, which hadn’t yet been revealed. Since then we’ve started to release a few SGs through Ashes, so you can try them out during the wait.
Ashes
The fanzine is enjoying discreet success and some of you have even begun to ask questions through the comments section on our Kickstarter page.
We are now pleased to present the latest issue:
In this issue, we introduce the second promo mission, which elaborates on the first mission with the introduction of a new playing character, the Novice (make the most of their capacity to heal, it certainly won’t be an easy mission).
Here you can find a token and a card that we forgot to put in Ashes, monday we'll correct the fanzine:
Reroll
Gipsy
To play the second mission you will need to print the pages of both the Ashes numbers.
Production
Production is moving along nicely and our Chinese partner has now confirmed shipment times. Immediately after Chinese New Year, containers will depart for Europe and the USA, and by March Ship Naked should have sent everything to our backers.

Second Wave
All the second wave materials are ready to go, albeit currently under review. But seeing as there’s still a way to go until shipment, we’ll show you everything through our updates and Ashes. At the moment we are unable to provide an exact date for shipment, which in any case won’t be before the summer. We are waiting for feedback from yourselves and our commercial partners before we decide on timeframes and production runs.
Given that this is our first project, it is important that we optimise all aspects of the game, not just the rules or number of materials, but also commercial aspects, thus placing us in the best position to keep working on the product.

We are proud to be ranked in the top 50 of our Category: Crowd Funded, once again, we thank you all for your dedicated support.
There’s still a few hours left to vote and help us reach the top 20. It won’t be easy, because we don't have the same visibility as the major publishers, but simply being in the race with them is a source of much pride for us:
