we hope you had a great summer and are fully charged for the final rush.
Everything is going according to plan
The resin miniatures are on their way to our studio and will be sent out by the end of September. For those interested in our Golem, we are proposing an offer dedicated to you supporters. If ordered by 25th September, it will be sent together with the heroes at no additional shipping cost.
The PVC miniatures have been revised after the last test run, which we presented in the previous update. They passed the second test and will now start to be produced in series. We were very satisfied even with the first run, but wanted to further improve the final look of some of the details to make sure you experience maximum satisfaction while playing.
The production of all the paper materials will begin at the start of October, so at the moment there are no major updates except for the restyling of some of the cards and covers. We hope you'll like them as much as we do. The idea is to create something elegant that stands out on your shelves, and we'd like for all Nova Aetas boxes to have a common style. Let us know what you think; we're still in time to make changes until the end of September.
Nova Aetas Chronicles
This is the brand that will include all games set in this fantastic world, not only those set in the Italian renaissance, but also those that share something with it. Sine Tempore is the perfect example: it shares various elements of the Nova Aetas playing system and background, yet with an entirely Sci-Fi setting.
Sine Tempore
Developments are moving ahead at a steady pace, and we'd like to bring the product with us to Essen as complete as possible. The game boards are ready, just like the enemy cards and the alfa rulebook. We're just finishing the equipment and skill cards. Those able to come and visit us at the fair will be able to try the game with all the miniatures included in the base box. We are in the process of developing three additional classes and will soon get our hands on a new alien threat planned for the expansion, which goes by the name of SILICIO.
Essen Spiel 2016
For the fair, in addition to presenting our two miniature games, we will also propose Drunken Dwarfs, a Story Telling game based on drinking. Drunken Dwarfs is a game developed by Daimon Games and produced by us, where heroic dwarfs provoke each other in a series of duels, narrating their epic deeds to the tune of drinking challenges (only non-alcoholic beer of course). Even a straight-edge elf can join the fun... if he dares.
We have had numerous requests by a number of foreign editors such as Rebel, Heidelberger, Cosmic Group to view our new game and produce a localised edition, so next year you might find Nova Aetas on the shelves of various stores. What does all this mean? If we manage to finalise distribution contracts with editors as important as these, we will be able to grow even more, guaranteeing the continuous growth of Nova Aetas and the other products currently being developed.

after a short summer break, we're now back with a vengeance. In spite of the holidays, some of us continued to work to keep you up to date on the game's development.
Production First of all, we'd like to reveal our new partner, Whatz Game, responsible for the production of games such as Raid & Trade (released on Kickstarter), Lewis & Clark and above all, Krosmaster Quest.
Below you’ll find a few examples of our models printed by them; keep in mind that they have been coated with a relatively consistent layer of primer to give depth to the image, so the final result will only get better.
Progress of works
We are now working on finalising the rules for the majority of the SGs, while those for the Pets and zodiac sign cards have been completed.
There are still a number of things that need to be finished, such as the Under Siege campaign and the Dragon and Manticore hunt missions. Moreover, three different playtest groups are working on the campaign missions unlocked during KS and those of various Paersona.

Every 1-2 months, we will make an exclusive model available for pre-order in order to cover the gaps left by the kickstarter campaign, for example the miniatures for the hunt missions or the new pets. You can even find a preview of some of the models of our next game, Sine Tempore.
Essen
Preparations for Essen are on track. We are preparing two playing tables, one for Nova Aetas and one for Sine Tempore. Some of you will be able to buy our models directly at the fair, saving on shipping costs. A quick update on the promotional card: we have decided to insert a card tied to the crafting of Nova Aetas, as we believe this is a better gift. The card will be physically inserted into the boxes of all those who purchase our resin miniatures, both during the fair and from the online store, and can also be downloaded free from our website.
We have also arranged to meet with various foreign editors who are interested in our work, with whom we are hoping to finalise a number of commercial agreements during the fair at Essen. This is a very important opportunity in order to continue to develop the world of Nova Aetas. In fact, next summer there will be a burning hot, almost infernal surprise for you all :)

Sine Tempore
We will keep you up to date on the development of our new game. A number of other models have been completed, which will slowly be revealed, while playtest sessions have also begun to balance out the characteristics of the Primaevi (that's right, the Primaevi) and the colonists.
Sine Tempore is set in the remote past of the world of Nova Aetas, with which it shares a number of different elements.

Essen 2016
We are proud to inform you that we will be taking three demonstration tables to Essen, one for Nova Aetas and two for Sine Tempore. Those who come and visit our booth will be able to see all the Nova Aetas test runs and miniatures in PVC, as well as see our new pieces for Sine Tempore, first-hand.
We will bring a limited run of resin miniatures for those that wish to own one of our fantastic models. It will be possible to book them from our website from September onwards, after we have finished all shipments to our backers, by opting for pick-up directly at the fair.
Nova Aetas
We are finalising the review of texts for the Vesuvio's Forge expansion (rulebook, cards and punchboard) before sending the material to print.
In about 10-15 days, the first version of the miniatures should arrive in order to test the quality of the product. The change in production partner has slowed down our work somewhat, but delivery is still on schedule for December, as per the programme.
Sine Tempore
We are finalising the draft of the alfa rulebook, while our artists are starting to produce materials for stress tests. For now, we can confirm that there will be clear references to Nova Aetas, and that we're having lots of fun inserting quotes in different elements of the game.
